The effect of the batteries in boat balance will largely depend on exactly 
where they are stowed relative to the centerline of the boat, and what gear is 
on the opposite side. You'll have to decide that by seeing how she sits in the 
water. Two batteries are a good idea if you are going anywhere far from home.
