Hello, I just signed up for the mail list. I have a '71 C&C 39. The rudder post has been leaking for several years but greasing the fitting stopped the leaking. Lately the leak starts up as soon as the rudder is moved and there is a slight bit of play in the fitting. I understand that there are a number of 39 owners on the list. Can someone help me with background on this issue? Thanks. Jim
