James,
The Marine Museum of the Great Lakes http://www.marmuseum.ca/has all of George
Cuthbertson’s drawings.
If you plug “C&C 39” into the collection search engine you’ll find that they
have quite a few drawings for the boat including one for a “High Aspect Rudder”.
If C&C modified your boat this may be the drawing they used.
You can buy copies of the drawings from the museum.
Cheers

Subject: Stus-List C&C 39 rudder port problem
I am new to the mailing list and I am not sure of all the protocalls. I have a
'71 C&C 39 (Windquest) and the rudder port is leaking and there is a bit of
play where the rudder post enters the hull. Are there drawings available of
the rudder port? Has anyone had one apart. The boat is unique among '39s in
that it has a partial skeg and high aspect ratio rudder rather than the typical
shark fin. Any help would be much appreciated.
Jim
