For that specific reason we installed a short ladder on each and every finger in our Club (NSC).

I was walking our dog around the marina one evening a few years ago, when I heard someone calling for help. I walked down onto the dock there was an older guy in the water, he couldn't pull himself out. He was so heavy that I had to get on his boat and lower ladder to the water so that he could climb out.
