On my 34+, I have a T (Y-valve) in the line for the head bowl rinse intake. The pump is 2 feet downstream of the Y-valve, and the wash down line runs to a hose fitting on the bow. I use it primarily for washing the anchor and chain and deck cleanup around the anchor locker.
