Dennis,Now take that new hair dryer and connect it to your car battery to see how it works. My situation is somewhat different but we had a 12 v coffee maker. 45 minutes to make coffee. We now use a Sea Cook propane stove in the cockpit, 10 minutes to perc a pot and better coffee..
