Yesterday was the first truly nice day here in Toronto. High of 12 celsius.
Took the opportunity to revisit my 1973 Honda CB350 project. Got it running
last night and took it for a spin around the block sans helmet and plates,
and pissing gas all over. But! It was the first time I ever actually rode
the thing! Bliss. Have had it two years and it always took a back seat so
far as projects go. It always "sort of" ran but the clutch plates were
frozen and the calliper was seized making it unridable. I also have a used
late gen Atomic 4 I picked up a few weeks ago for a song that I'm looking
to rebuild this summer. Projects are fun but work and sailing take priority
so they go kinda slow. It's too cold in the winter to hang out in the
garage and it's too nice in the summer to hang out in the garage :) Spring
and fall mean boat prep and winterizing. I'm going to have to start taking
time off work just to catch up on my projects! And that doesn't even
include the house or the car!

I like things that were built to last, hence C&C yachts, Honda twins and
old benzes. I might be a middle income earner in 2014 but I live like a
spoiled 80's Reaganite from Miami (minus the coke habit and the "wham"
haircut).
