My mistake.... Going from memory I was remembering running a wire from the
through hull fitting for the new depth sounder to the box for the TackTick
system.The fluxgate does indeed go directly to the computer...

To amplify a bit: there IS a SeaTalkNG connection on the X5 course computer;
but as far as I know, it�s only to get onto the backbone for other data.
I�m not sure you can run the X5 with only a SeaTalkNG control head.
The fluxgate compass and rudder reference transducer connect right to the X5
course computer, along with the drive unit.
