The reason you can’t anchor in the Sassafras anywhere west of Georgetown is the
“Philadelphia Navy” headed out on Saturday and back on Sunday leaving huge
wakes behind.

Pennsylvania people who keep their boats on the upper Chesapeake. My boat was
on the Sassafras all its life before I bought it - it had two Pennsylvania
ports of call.

Do you REALLY think a plastic surgeon would own a trashed out Islander 30? :)
I'd expect a name like that to be on a SeaRay.

Well, that may be true but I'm guessing the guy is a bit more cleavage oriented.

Rick,
Guess I'm dense. Are you suggesting 36 "C notes" meaning 3600 dollars?

Chuck,

Think of the name as “36C’s”.
It kind of explains where his priorities are.

Poor guy. Boat name "36 Seas"???? What's that about?

Would the docking operation go better if he started from the opposite way?
I've been spoiled for the last 10 years by docking bow in and stepping off onto
a floating dock. This season I'm moving to a slip with outer and midslip
pilings and the tiniest finger pier and expensive boats on either side. I have
to back in and have a lot of additional fenders ready just for the docking
maneuver. I'll probably be fine unless someone is recording it for YouTube.

Chuck

I could be wrong but I'm guessing this boat is has left hand rotation.
