Jack, Congrats and welcome to the list!
You'll get more advice but the most important is to have the fuel tank thoroughly cleaned and carry lots of spare fuel filter elements. Unless you are familiar with the boat and its last few years of life, assume there is lots of sediment in the tank that will get stirred up with waves, heeling and motion. I don't trust "polishing" the fuel. My preference would be to have the tank removed, cleaned and re-installed or even replaced if it is a standard tank. Heard too many stories about bad fuel on first deliveries. Dennis C.
