electric bilge pump not best way to get rid of gasoline spill but 5 miles from shore full crew &hot muffler with fuel dripping on it ...only drown whole area possible..whale 25 portable pump pumping from lake was great help..enough water in boat to above floor boards auto pumps kept us from eventually sinking....bad experience...
