I had two 12" squares of Sunbrella made up to use as sun covers for the
cockpit speakers.  They keep them clean and mostly dry when not in use.  I
think they will last longer this way.

I cut holes to put so-called weatherproof cockpit speakers on Alianna, wish
I had not done that.  We hardly ever used them and now one has a bad crackle
noise already.I suggest spending that extra money on better cabin speakers.
I just disconnected my cockpit speakers so now they look like air vents
