I had two 12" squares of Sunbrella made up to use as sun covers for the cockpit speakers. They keep them clean and mostly dry when not in use. I think they will last longer this way.

We hardly ever used them and now one has a bad crackle noise already.I suggest spending that extra money on better cabin speakers.
