Hey all, Thanks for watching. Had a blast racing with my two sons (21 and 24). I attempted celestial navigation for the first time. In retrospect, not a smart move give the nature of the stream this year. Got a good noon sight on Sunday (stream day) and could not get one Monday. The stream was not a simple crossing, but we stayed with it down the rumb-line for 20+ hours of 30-50 knots, confused large seas and, at times, horizontal, painful rain. We and boat were wet, wet and wet. Started Saturday with incredibly high humidity and continued with mucho spray. Couple that with batten down the hatches, I think I lost five pounds in 4 days! Tuesday was classic Bermuda race weather: smooth seas, close reach and bout 10 knots of breeze. Cold move about with being tossed about. Problem was I had no idea what the stream was doing to us without cross-track error. We sailed her fast and safe through the stream, but apparently did not keep far enough west. I though I had enough westing in the bank. Nope. Anyway the boat did great. Very little broke and we and the whole fam damily are enjoying ourselves and the level surfaces land offers. My wife and daughter will be joining myself and Max on the way back. Leaving Sunday or Monday. Weather looks a bit dicey and will know after weather briefing today at 11:00. See you at the back side!

He's the leeward boat on what looks to be a reaching leg into Bermuda.
