Hi, I have the paragon SAOV / Walter RV-10D V-drive transmission combo on my 3QM30. I have not experienced any clicks or reverse slips outs. My paragon has a serial # tag from Marine Transmission Inc out of Ft lauderdale, FL. I called them to get a replacement dipstick (mine was missing) and during the discussion found out that the tag meant that they recently rebuilt my transmission.
Gives these guys a call. They are very knowable, have replacement parts for both the paragon and v-drive, and of course will rebuild them.
