I'm thinking about losing the spray dodger to increase visibility, but keeping it in storage for when I go in open water - and just buying a nice bimini top and frame for cruising around. Does anyone have a recommendation for a bimini system for a 1976 30mki? It's a tiller boat and the main traveler is at the back of the cockpit. Also, I think a black bimini would look great. Is the color black a bad idea bc of heat? I see so many dark navy tops... Dark navy can't be that much cooler than black. I would also buy a black sail cover. This is a shot of the boat: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8g8d5sXYVWGLXZnbVY4WEpSYk0 IMG_6350.JPG<https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8g8d5sXYVWGLXZnbVY4WEpSYk0> drive.google.com Any advice is appreciated.
