Joel,

 

I’m not sure how well GFlex will hold screws.  It seems to be just a little bit 
soft, even after it hardens.  I use regular West System with a bit of silica 
filler to thicken it up.

Subject: Stus-List Filling stripped screw holes in fiberglass + core

 

I need to are rebed some hardware that is screwed in to the cabin, and several 
screw holes are stripped.​  I'm going to use butyl for the hardware, but is 
epoxy the best thing to fill the screw holes?  Does it need to be West, or is 
any waterproof hardware store epoxy sufficient?
