Hi Richard

Several years ago during haul out I noticed the board was not up all the way
and the fibreglass at the end was frayed. The crane director asked me what I
wanted to do. I had no choice but to place Persuasion in her cradle. As she
was set down on her keel you could hear the fibreglass crunch. From then on it
was jammed up. Probably low water and backing in and out on my slipped caused
the fibreglass damage and spreading on the board breaking the seal of the
filler.

Mike, thanks for sharing, they are fascinating photos! I recall that you had
some centerboard issues during your trip; what was the source of the "chunk"
out of the leading edge of the board? Thanks
