FWIW I talked to the experts at Jamestown Distributors this spring, as the
cabin top on my boat needed to be painted after 25 years in the
Florida/Carribean sun.  They said the 2 part will easily outlast the 1 part
paints.

They recommended Epiphanes 2 part epoxy after using their house brand
primer.  I bought a gallon of the primer and had my house painter roll and
tip it.  Results were so good that I'm no rush to apply the Epiphanes.
They said the new stuff is better than Perfection, especially for the DIY
types.
