Alex We have a diaphragm bilge pump in Persistence. The pump itself is not in the bilge and has a separate pickup. Because of this the pickup at the end of a hose can be mounted much lower than something like a Rule pump with the pickup built into the body of the pump. It pumps the bilge almost completely dry.
