Robert, welcome tot he List! I would ask the same questions as Rick; unstepping this mast by hand can be a bear...if you go that route recruit plenty of big beefy guys and have someone who knows what they're doing be the foreman on the job!
It does hinge which is a plus, but be sure to support it at the rail, and have someone to hold the base end, or it can flip on you. Also, don't forget to detach the electric connections.
