Stanchion Base fits over Toerail and *attaches to Deck with (4) 1/4" RH screws*, 2 of which go through Toerail. Screws are on 2 3/4" (outboard) and 1 3/8" (inboard) centers. Stanchion is attached with a 1/4" RH screw that goes through Toerail and into Stanchion, hole in Stanchion is normally tapped for 1/4" screw.
