Hello

I have recently pulled a Yanmar 3GMD 20hp out of my boat in Victoria BC. It is
from 1981 and has 2000 hours on it. The reason it is being replaced is it
started to leak oil from the air intake manifold indicating that there was too
much oil being blown out from the rocker arm cover into the air intake. Not a
good thing and I decided not to spend the money trying to figure it out. Please
note this is the raw water cooled variety. Although people worry about it, that
was never a problem.

However someone may want it for parts. Starter, alternator, water pump, etc. I
presume all are original but were working fine. The impeller on the water pump
was replaced in the summer.

In addition, of more measurable value,

1. It has a nearly new, as in maybe 50 hours on it, exhaust riser fabricated by
Gartside. It was built last winter and the boat got very little use last
summer. Not sure exactly what I paid for it because they did other work at the
same time on the engine that I don't want to think about, but it was a few
hundred dollars.

Under the still in the bag and never used category with the price from Vector
marine.

2. Thermostat - YN105582-49200 - cost $54.40
3. Thermostat gasket YN104211-49160 - $3.12
4. Water pump Impeller YN104211-42071 - $44.06
5. Water pump gasket YN104211-42090 - $5.48
6. Two zincs for engine YN27210-200300 - $8.24 each
7. Fuel filter - YN104500-55710 - $9.60
8. Fuel filter - Racor 2000 with two o-rings. No idea what it cost.

Anyone interested in any of the above, but preferably all of the above, make an
offer.

The motor and all parts are sitting in my garage. Come to think of it there are
some new belts for the alternator and water pump on the boat that I will get.
