The 37R, Third Wave, was sold last year and the new owner ran it hard aground, I believe motoring, in his home waters of St. Margaret's Bay.  My understanding was that the hull ribs, etc. were severely damaged to the point where repair costs greatly out wayed the value of the boat.  So she was written off.

The newer sails listed (the 2000's models) are in very good to excellent condition.

As for the color (blue with gold waves), the boat was originally an 'off white'......nice looking boat then....it was originally owned by an American who kept it here in Nova Scotia (Chester mostly).....then he sold it to Capt. Hal Davies, a retired CDN naval officer, who with his son, Steve, also extensively raced the boat. For some strange reason, Capt. Davies had the boat painted this 'blue' when I didn't think it needed a paint job in the first instance.

The boat was raced long and hard and has the 'silverware' to prove it.  May it RIP.
