Savannah's creeks & old marinas are full of derelict sail boats. We used to have a vibrant large boat sailing community here and now we are down a few "rode hard, put up wet J Boats" and mixed bag of PHRF Boats whose owners would rather complain about their ratings rather clean and paint the bottom or buy decent sails. We have owned Honey since Dec of 1975 and as much as I hate spending the bucks to keep her in yacht condition I just can't wrap my mind around selling her nor can allow her to just wither away at the dock like so many other old sail boats around here.
