I needed a copy of my Certificate and did a google search and inadvertently
went to their web site. I started filling out their firm, but stopped when
they started asking for my social security number.

They wpnted $175 for the renewal Certificate that the giv charges $24 for. So
I filed a consumer fraid complInt with the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION.

> Subject: Stus-List Vessel documentation renewal - those scammers again
> Well, gee. I just got my "courtesy" renewal notice from "Maritime
> Documentation Center". I promptly emailed them an "official notice of
> shame". :)
> For those who are new the list a while and haven't seen our derision at these

> Do not be fooled. The VDC fee for renewal is $26. Pay no more. The
