Derek:

I have a Yanmar 2GMF.....the engine has several 'drains' for the engine coolant which will empty by gravity.   Each drain is opened by loosening what looks like a 'wing nut' and each drain fitting has a small diameter rubber hose attached which is useful to direct the coolant into a container for proper disposal when opened.

Very easy job to do if you have the same setup which you should.
