In my research on repairing Touche's adjuster, I saw a post attributing
failures of the top seal to UV exposure. My simple solution was a neoprene
washer from Home Depot.

I bought a 1/2 inch and a 5/8 inch for the 1/2 inch rod. The 1/2 inch
sometimes rode up when the adjuster was eased so I settled on the 5/8 inch.

As for the repair, I went with Stix N Rig'n out of Kemah, TX. Good, quick
service. I had contacted Lew Townsend but he was leaving on a 3 week
cruise and couldn't fix it until after. To his credit Lew texted me on his
return to see if I still needed the repair.
