Friends are looking to get a boat a bit more suited for extended cruising than their current 30 footer (redwing). They also wish to be able to enter the occasional club race (white sail, shorthanded with only 2 or 3) and want something with a draft 5 feet or under. One boat that has been suggested is the Tartan 33 (not the Tartan 10). In Point Pleasant NJ there is a yachtworld listing for what appears to be an excellent example of this boat with many recent upgrades. On the surface this appears to be an ideal boat. Does anyone on the list have any familiarity with the boat? https://www.yachtworld.com/boats/1980/Tartan-33-3088679/Point-Pleasant/NJ/United-States?refSource=browse%20listing#.W6t9J3tKipo Mike Persistence Halifax, NS
