Thanks, Dennis. I have the Taylor foam cushion ones with the straps. Works fine for the midship piling, but it didn’t cut it for the end piling where the boat has higher speed as you’re coming in, especially in a blow. Was thinking about something with a little more bounce. Has anyone tried one of those Taylor Fender Cushions (looks like two fenders in one)?

Subject: Stus-List Piling cushioning I just wound an old dock line around one of the midship pilings in Touche's slip. Hold it in place with nails (but not on the side facing the boat). Has worked great for years. Great use of an old dock line. Go to a local fire department. See if they'll give you some old firehose. Stuff a pool noodle in it for extra cushioning.
