Last summer my two shaft zincs and one prop zinc were gone in six months. I hung a zinc fish, connected to my shaft with a slightly modified jumper cable, during the winter. Three weeks ago I sent a diver down to change the zincs and he reported that all were good. Conditions change, neighboring boats change but I’ll be hanging that zinc this winter.
