Maybe he has 3 tanks? I have a thing about multiple tanks and switched gauges myself. I was copilot on a flight out of New York once where the pilot selected nearly empty tanks with the valves and nearly full tanks with the switch for the gauges. If I hadn't caught it we would have had a double flame out at night :( So if you do this - make SURE you are watching and using the same tank. Joe Coquina

I'm in the process of replacing my 3 fuel gauges. once new analog gauges are hooked up, i will pour in fuel 5 gallons at a time. Let fuel settle and take readings on gauge. This will give me a fairly close proximity of accuracy. I'm using 1 gauge with a 3 pole rotary switch to select which I'm using.
