I've done some research on this and found the 34/36 could be ordered with any combination. Some plus models were ordered with short rigs and some with two spreader rigs and some with three spreader rigs. There were several keels offered, 7' 4", 5' 3" wing, and later a centerboard version. In '96, Mars Metals cast a 6' 3" keel for the boat. Last I heard Mars lost the molds for the wing keel but still have the molds for the 6' 3" and 7' 4" models. The difference between Plus and XL remains a mystery to me as I've seen several versions of each.
