Hi Paul,

FWIW, I roll three extra turns of the sheets around the sail to secure it and 
cleat the sheets in the cockpit.  On the bow, I keep a snapshackle on a short 
lanyard for securing the anchor so it doesn't self launch by itself.  If high 
winds are forecast, I can repurpose the snap schackle from the anchor or use a 
carabiner through the holes in the Harken Furler Drum.   I keep two caribiners 
on short lines for barberhauling aboard.
