The Perko hasp on my companionway hatch disintegrated and I was going to replace it with stainless but had trouble finding one the right length. All Westmarine had were shorter ones, and that was mostly what I found online as well. Eventually I stumbled on an exact replacement and ordered that. Not interested in drilling new holes either. Mine, the original and the new replacement, appear to be chrome plated zinc alloy. Certainly not bronze.
