I know this was on the list some time ago. I just did the rest of my nav table side bulkhead on the aft facing side. Now it is white all the way across, the starboard side in the galley always was white. It was harder than last time, either the paint got thinner or there was more teak oil left in there, it took a few coats to not see any brownish spots coming through. I do like the white all the way across look and the varnished teak binocular case looks cool on the white :)
I ran across an ad for a Landfall where all the bulkheads were done white. I could not help myself, my first thought was "That boat sank or at had a lot of interior water damage". I know it is entirely possible the owner just likes white, but that was my first thought. So mixed feelings now about doing the whole boat.... For the main bulkhead that is the aft side of the head/forward side of the main cabin I am going to try getting it in shape for oil or varnish and only go white if that can't be done.
