Thanks Shawn. I think a machine shop could make a pair of knobs out of
stainless steel for the ptice of one new one from A&H. Besides the new ones
don’t look to be the same and I believe they are designed to work with a
spring seal which mine doesn’t have. Right now it works held together with
a jubilee clamp and plastic cover taped over the knob. I may try my hand at
making something that should work and get me thru the season out of a piece
of jatoba wood. Looks to me that what i need is pretty simple but a
critical part of the hatch nonetheless.
