WARNING: Do not EVER trust any of the AIS applications that send you AIS info from Marine Traffic and/or other internet sources. The info you see is good for entertainment value, but the shore stations have gaps in coverage and they go on and offline at random times plus there is an unknown amount of delay. This info is in no way trustworthy enough for collision avoidance.
