Josh, When i replaced my hatch glass. I used the same thickness as the side 
windows.  I think it was 3/8. As for the sealant. I used dow corning 795. I 
rounded the edges slightly, more on the bottom than on the top. You will want 
to keep the plexi glass cool and out of the sun as much as possible until the
