I agree with Chuck.  At the risk of sounding critical (which is not my intent), 
I suggest Oden hire a rigger or find someone experienced to go over all his 
questions in person.  E-mail is not an efficient way to obtain this much 
detailed information about a specific rig.

I offer to help answer the halyard/organiser/clutch question.  The main and jib 
halyards offer the highest loads, so those need to be run as direct as possible 
to the winch.  I would start with the jib halyard and choose the clutch that 
lines up best with that winch drum's right side.  You want the least angle to 
the right side of the winch drum.  Then I would do the same for the main 
halyard. 

  

To layout the halyards, I would see where they each exit the mast and the most 
forward ones, should find the most forward blocks on the deck ring and go 
through the outer most deck organizer sheave and back to the outermost clutch.  
 On my boat, the spin halyards are the most forward.  On starb, the pole lift 
is next, the jib halyard aft of that.  On port I a spin halyard, the main 
halyard next aft.  The secondary lines to be considered are the cunningham, the 
main outhaul, the vang, and the babystay if you have one.   Do whatever you can 
to avoid crossovers and lead things fair. 

  

I question if the double clutch is there because the original lost it's grip??

Question 1: What line would run through the double rope clutch (middle clutch)? 
I have my spinn halyard and jib halyard on that side of the mast, so which one 
would require a double rope clutch? I can faintly see the word spinn halyard on 
it, but my jib halyard lines up better with the clutch, so I wasn't sure. 

  

Question 2: Do my jib sheets run like the red line I have shown in the photo? 
If so, then what would the second part of the block be used for (shown by blue 
circle)? Maybe something for the spinnaker (run through the block as shown by 
the blue line maybe)? 

  

Question 3: What is this track for (shown by green circle)? It is near the 
mast/shroud area. 

  

Question 4: I know this setup with wood blocks is probably wrong, but I just 
used it to keep the mast straight for now. How should the mast be centered in 
the hole on the deck? There doesn't appear to be any evidence of the previous 
owner using wood blocks like I did, so I am trying to figure out what he might 
have used? 

  

Question 5: Anyone know how my solid boom vang should be set up? I think maybe 
the bottom block attaches to the deck (as shown by the red line), but then I am 
not sure where the cam cleat block (blue circle) would go. Also there are two 
holes on the bracket where the boom vang attaches to the boom, anyone know what 
the second hole on the bracket is for? 

  

Question 6: Is there supposed to be another line run through the boom that goes 
to the sheave at both ends of the boom. One sheave on the port side and on the 
end furthest from the mast doesn't have anything run through it (red circle), 
and on the end closest to the mast the middle sheave is empty (shown by blue 
circle). 

  

Question 7: Is this line for reefing the mainsail (shown by red circle)? If not 
then what would it be used for? 

  

Question 8: How should the outhaul be tied to the sail? Is there supposed to be 
a pulley system, or does it just get tied to the mainsail? I put some photos of 
the outhaul up too. Also how is the outhaul run through the boom? The yellow 
line operates the outhaul, but there is a metal wire coming out of the end of 
the boom furthest from the mast that pulls on the outhaul (with red flecked 
rope attached to it), so I am wondering what happens on the inside of the boom 
that changes the yellow line to a metal line? 

And how would I change the outhaul line? Is it possible to feed new line 
through the boom, or do I somehow take out the outhaul assembly out of the boom 
to install a new rope? 

  

Question 9: What are these two holes (shown by red circle) on the end of the 
boom for? Maybe attaching a topping lift and/or the main halyard? If not then 
what would they be used for? 

  

Question 10: I have attached photos of my mainsheet setup (I think I have it 
set up correctly, but if not then let me know), but I am wondering why I can't 
pull the line shown by the red circle out of the boom? Is it supposed to be 
super hard to pull out? The other line that comes out of the boom and goes to 
the cam cleat (shown by blue circle), is somehow connected to the line that is 
super hard to pull. When I pull on the cam cleat line, the other line (red 
circle) is pulled into the boom pretty easily, but then I can't pull it back 
out. Is it supposed to be like this? And why do my mainsheet lines even go into 
the boom? I have seen photos of other boats that just have their mainsheets on 
the outside. 

Also, does anyone know how the mainsheet line is fed throughout the boom? In 
case I have to change it. 

What would having the mainsheet lines fed through the boom even do? And why 
would the cam cleat line pull the mainsheet line into the boom? 

My mainsheet line and the cam cleat line are two separate lines by the way, so 
I am wondering how they connect on the inside of the boom?

I know this is a lot of questions, but any help is appreciated. This is the 
first boat I am trying to rig up, so some of these questions probably seem like 
common sense to most sailors, but thanks for any input you can give me.
