You might consider a glued-on t and hLaminate instead of replacing a panel.
I had this done by a local yard about 5 years ago and it still looks new.
It’s not an easy job and really requires 2 people because the recommended glue 
has a short pot life of about 30 minutes. Combine this with making sure all the 
t and h pieces line up before hand and one person just can’t do it.
Cost was not much less than another t and h floor but it still looks new.
