Being an old Yankee, ashrink wrap cover is used instead of a fabric cover, and it has remained in good condition for seven years. Made for snowy environments, the cover sheds snow effectively. My boat is a C&C 35-2. For height, a 3” PVC pipe is mounted from the mast step to roughly 40” above the cabin top mast partners, with the spinnaker pole lashed to the bow pulpit and then to the pseudomast. From there a ¾” galvanized link fence rail tubing extends to approximately 24” above the aft pulpit. This setup allows for easy access over the transom and adequate stand-up space in the cockpit. To prevent the cover from sagging, ¾” fiberglass tape is run diagonally from port to starboard stanchions over the peak. The entire process typically requires about half a day for two people to set up and secure.

I second that. Very good quality cover. I have it for 5 seasons and there is no wear on it (yet?).

Btw. If you store the boat where you expect heavy snowfall, talk to them about making the frame high enough, so that the snow sheds on its own. The higher frame (higher cover) will cost more, but it saves a lot of work in winter.

I recommend

They made me a cover  and aluminum frame for my 34 and aluminum frame that works both mast up or down in 2018. they shipped it via truck to the US (Marina received it for me). it is still in good shape after 6 winters although the canvas will need replacement in the next few years I think as it is getting more holes that need sail tape each year.

They have the templates of many c&c boats and may be able to do it without you making measurements.
