oohhh boy.
Well Dave, Speaking from experience, you now work for B&G. They own your
soul. The sooner you realise this, the easier your life will be. I started
out in 2018 with a hodgepodge of B&G stuff, Robertson Autopilot and 2
Simrad Chartplotters and a couple analog processors. Why the PO had
recently replaced the chartplotters with Simrad is a mystery to me, as they
have limited usage for Sailboats. I spent more time below messing with that
stuff in vain than sailing, till I had a friend with IT experience (and a
boater) come over, and tell me which crap to cut out, and which wires to
pull out,(a lot!) and once I sold my soul to Navionics, and gave them my
ACH Info, bought B&G chartplotters, B&G autopilot controller, and the 5000
CPU, all my problems went away. If I had not done all this, I would be in
therapy now.

Also, join the B&G group on Facebook, you will not get much tech help from
B&G, and the interface is not all that intuitive. That said when you get it
dialed in, it does work great, and is probably the best electronics for
sailboaters.
