[cobalt-developers] sub domains

I have a question directed at the RAQ4 server.  I have a web developer that
wants to create virtual sites in the form of sub domains.
example

www.subdomain1.mydomain.com
www.subdomain2.mydomain.com
etc ......

instead of

www.newsite.com

Is this possible ? Rather than expeirment on our production box I would hope
to get some input from others.
