I'm afraid I don't understand...
1. I installed RaQ3-All-Security-3.0.1-8061 (glibc update) BEFORE RaQ3-en-
Update-OS Release 4.0.
2. You say this has been posted a lot... In this list? I can't find any message 
about this...
3. A file is locking PostgreSQL? wich file? There is nothing similar to 
"/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5583", and removing the pidfile "/var/run/postmaster.pid" 
doesn't help at all... Do you know where should that tmp file be?

I would really appreciate if anyone could help me. Thanks a lot.

Caused by glibc & one kernel bug

delete a file thats locking postgre its a tmp file that will get the GUI
running for a bit

uninstall all your updates for the RaQ3
reinstall glibc then reinstall your updates
if OS4 is now fixed then reinstall it

this has been posted alot so check out the archives

After installing RaQ3-en-Update-OS Release 4.0 and rebooting my RaQ, virtual
sites list and users list in every virtual site became inaccessible in the
web
control panel.
