I managed to dig out a copy of sash thanks to the good folks at SGI: ftp://ftp.linux.sgi.com//pub/linux/mips/mipsel-linux/RedHat-6.1/RPMS/mipsel/sash-3.3-1.mipsel.rpm since rpm is statically linked, i was able to rpm -Uvh ftp://.... and install sash. then i copied by libs back to the right spot.
