the interface just runs perl scripts from a .cobalt/ folder (use ls -a to
see it) which you could mirror on an machine. however the perl script
control certain processes which have specially assigned permission ie. can
be executed by httpd (the web browser) rather than root as on a normal
system.
These asside they have only slapped a neat web interface on a linux platform
with a low amp motherboard (not that thats a bad thing!)
