Mike raises an interesting question. Now that the Qube GUI depends on php, incorrect updates/ re-installs of php could have an impact on the operability of the GUI. I found that MySQL was installed on my Qube3, activated it, and confirm that even though php was configured as follows on the Qube3: './configure' '--prefix=/usr' '--with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs' '--with-gd' '--with-gettext' '--enable-safe-mode' '--with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd' '--with-exec-dir=/usr/bin' '--with-zlib' '--enable-magic-quotes' '--with-regex=system' '--with-ttf=/usr/lib/libttf.so' '--enable-track-vars' '--enable-xml' '--disable-debug' '--with-interbase=shared' '--with-mysql=shared' '--with-pgsql=shared' '--with-imap' and with mysql running, mysql commands return errors such as: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() Has anyone configured the Qube3 to actually USE mysql via php? Would Cobalt care to describe the safe way to do this since php and mysql are bulleted features of the product? Thanks in advance.
