Why does Qpopper with PAM support use, on average, 10 times the CPU that 
Qpopper without PAM support does?


I've tested this one quite extensively and I'm sure that the PAM support is 
causing the problem but I can't think of any reason why QPOP+PAM would have 
such a large hit on the CPU.
