You REALLY don't want to do that. Please, trust me. What you should do is
get the source form of those RPMs and run rpm --rebuild foo.src.rpm. This
will link them against the libc you already have.
Glibc is particularly bad about keeping binary compatibility, which is why
binaries are generally tied to a specific glibc minor revision number.
