My (personal) experiences with Equifax are very positive. I just renewed/ordered 
a couple of certs recently and had no problem in getting a response from them in 
any way. Maybe you've just been very unlucky. But please don't slag off 
companies in public mailinglists. Sharing you experience is good, but try to 
make it a positive contribution (e.g. how did you manage to contact them at 
last).
